Dear authors,
On Friday 2nd May I will be talking about one of my favourite subjects: author rights. I will cover everything from the rights authors have that protects you and your creative work, so copyright and the moral rights that may be automatic or you may be able to claim, depending where you live.
I will be giving an overview of the valuable rights that an author can licence to others, so publishing rights, subsidiary rights, adaptation (film and television) rights etc and common pitfalls to avoid when licensing these rights.
I will also cover public licensing rights that you may be able to claim.
This is all very well, you are thinking, but how is AI changing things and how can I protect myself and my work?
If you know all about your author rights, then DON’T come on my online KNOW YOUR RIGHTS mini course, but if you do want a clear overview on what’s what including a booklet to take away afterwards, book now here:

Date: Friday 2nd May, 12.30pm to 2pm BST

A recording will be available if you are unable to attend on the day.
Kind regards

I would like to sign up for your course on Author's Rights, but don't see a place to register. Or do we not have to register, just show up at the appointed time?
